A SWIFT code or SWIFTBIC, as it is sometimes written is a bank identifier code.
The BIC (Business Identifier Code), is unique to each bank and is used for the identification purposes for international transfers. It can be found on the banks’ website or on your personal bank statement. You can also contact your bank’s customer service and ask them for the SWIFT code.
